Brent Read: 'I don't think he (Suaalli) will play until around origin time anyway unless there's a mass of injuries.'

Steve Roach: 'I heard that he probably won't play until around origin anyway, wouldn't it.'

There is another, it has to be put up.

Roach: (About his headline of the week) Best Storm Fullback Since Slater - Paps

And one more: 'There will likely be more points scored this week for the year.'

Deadset.

Very much against the grain here (if what’s on social media is to be believed as the prevailing opinion) but I strongly applaud the NRL for its response to this.

Rugby League & its fans love to talk a good game when it comes to supporting the safety and positive treatment of women in general and condemning those (players included) who commit atrocities, yet they apparently stand and encourage this kind of language. Maybe they need to pay a little more attention to the domestic violence ads currently being aired on TV, because to my way of thinking, what is depicted in those adverts is very similar to what was depicted by Tony Rudolf in his comments post game.

“Will receive counselling” I’m so sick of that statement all the time which implies he has some kind of mental health issue, when really he is just a fuckhead.

he'll be painted as a victim by the end of the week.

What did he say that was violent?

Just wanted to go and pick up. Should of said he’d jump on Tinder

That Rudolph interview has been blown way out of proportion, it is 100% a sign of where we are as a society. He was clearly joking, he didn't single out anyone and how was it offensive to anyone who wasn't looking to be offended? Stupid comment? Sure but come on, he didn't even single out women or men, it was just a dumb thing to say. What a waste of time and energy.

Yeah, I don't really get it. None of it implies violence against women or anything close of the sort. Young men and women go out and look to have consenting sex with each other, its been this way for years upon years.

Credit where it is due, that discussion with James Graham and Benji on 360 about concussion was deep and EXCELLENT. Do you yourself a favour and watch it.

Players can show plenty authenticity & cheekiness in television interviews without inferring that women are just a thing they pull at their leisure. There are literally countless other subjects to discuss.

We’ve had more than a few serious incidents over decades that sound like they originated from players thinking pretty similar things to what Rudolf said.

If he’d said something like “I’ll see if I can get lucky” or “meet somebody nice” there wouldn’t have been any problem.

another thing everyone who’s outraged by the outrage to this need to remember is he was WARNED. He hasn’t been suspended or fined, just warned.

An official warning, that is pretty serious stuff (well it should be anyway). He didn't even imply it was men or women. It was stupid but people love to tell people what they should and shouldn't say these days. This is the definition of the expression of making a mountain out of a molehill.

Another way to take it even is that he was making a commentary on what was done in the past as he said that sort of thing doesn't happen now. But nope, people have to jump to conclusions because they want to be offended.

Wonder if the reaction would be the same if it were a woman saying she was going out to crush some dick or if she would be applauded for being a strong independent woman

But was he “inferring” he was looking to pull a woman? Much ado about nothing I say. People who want to take offence are welcome to take it, I for one have no need for it so take as much as you like.
