Watching these clubs scrap away looking for the next "super coach" makes me appreciate the fact that we weren't so trigger happy with Kevvie
We already tried that with he-who-shall-not-be-named

Thats partially true. His impatience is a decent part of why his development has been stuffed up.
That's the trouble with gen Zers, instant gratification just don't come quick enough.

Cameron Ciraldo has rejected the Tigers.

A Wests Tigers Statement:

“The club has been contacted by Cameron Ciraldo and his management this afternoon and they have advised the club that he is not in a position to accept the role of Head Coach at this juncture in his career,’’ a Tigers statement read on Saturday.

“Whilst disappointing, we respect his decision, and we will continue with the selection process in appointing our club’s Head Coach.’’

edit: It's being reported that Payten, Flanagan, Kimmorley and Morris are expected to be discussed, if they don't also discuss Woolf, they are mad

Not surprising. If there's any club in the NRL right now where a novice coach goes to kill their career in its crib, it's got to be the Tigers.

If I were an NRL coach, I wouldn't be touching that place with a 50 foot pole until Pascoe and his posse of clowns are gone.

Bit weird for a club to have an official statement about being rejected

360 has become unwatchable since Ikin left. Anasta, Kent, Rothfield, Hooper and Crawley, with regular comments from the likes of Alexander. It's a NSW Rugby League cheerleading squad. Kent was bleating on and on about consistency in application of rules for weeks......Until NSW are on the end of it because Klown decides to arbitrarily bring the 6 again back into Origin to NSW benefit then all of a sudden it doesn't matter.

Here's an idea: How about we dump the 6 again rule because it's an absolute laugh, that does more to ruin the flow of a game than anything else and that has completely failed to achieve what it was introduced to do, which was eliminate the wrestle?

See this is how you know the NRL are a bunch of insincere cockheads when it comes to wrestlemania in the game: They do everything they can, obfuscate in other words to make it look like they're doing something about it......EXCEPT the one thing that would actually achieve something, which is attack it at its source by penalizing the shit out of Melbourne until they stop doing it. Can't do that in a million years can we.

Fox Sports is just a NSWRL **** fest nowadays... even the Qld people they bring on just pander to the NSWRL cronies because they know if they don't they will need to find a new pay cheque.

All they talked about after game 1 was Qld cheated and NSW lost it... all they talk about after Game 2 is how amazing NSW were and the sin binning didn't change anything.

Every bastard knows the Kaufusi incident on it's own was a blatant penalty, but how about the other 5 6 agains that were given? Where's the video essay on those penalties, because it was those previous ones that ultimately led to Kaufusi getting marched.

360 spent 15mins on 5-6 calls that were "missed" in game 1 that Fitler pissed and moaned about, but nothing on the penalties that led up to the most pivotal decision of the game.

NSW were behind prior to the sin binning and then scored 6 of their 7 tries after it... they were getting beaten by Qld and at risk of game 3 being a dead rubber.

When Qld were inside the 20m before the sin binning, NSW slowed the ruck to an absolute crawl, but no 6 agains... NSW kicked the penalty goal early, because they realised Klein wasn't calling any penalties so points would be at a premium, then all of a sudden he changed the rules for 10mins and subsequently sent a qld'er to the bin... game over from there and "wE'rE GoINg tO a deCiDer"

I wasn't aware it worked like that.

So Ponga has a mandatory 7 day standown because the bunker ruled he had a cat 1 concussion during the game, but he passed his HIA. It makes sense if they fail, but not when they pass.

Effectively, the NRL could instruct the bunker to make a BS concussion call and it rules a player out for the following week's game if it's less than a 7 day turnaround.

I think they also cant do any running, contact, etc. until day 6 as well, but that might be if you fail a HIA

Aaand Cleary's high contact cleared by the judiciary.
