Long overdue for a new thread.

Of course the latest signing news was young Wigan Warriors winger, Joe Burgess. Burgess traveled to Australia on two seperate occasions as a member of the Wigan Warriors WCC side and England's Four Nations squad. He didn't represent his country on that occasion but he's certainly in the mix later down the track.

The rumour had been around for awhile but now that it's confirmed, it will be interesting to see what changes the Roosters make to their backline to accommodate him.

Thinking back to all the times people pointed the finger at us for cheating the cap, I try to avoid doing the same to other clubs (even if it's a disgusting club like the Roosters). Either way, their recruitment is amazing. They know exactly who to get, while we've been stumbling around with nuffies like Kennedy on huge wages. The fact they now have him back cheaper than ever and have us paying part of his wages is depressing.

Hopefully we can get back to that top tier level of recruitment in the near future too. Milford is a great start though.

I would like to see this and Slater sign with the Cowboys. As much as I dislike the Cowboys, I hate the Storm and would love for them to lose one of their big three.

Is this a rumor? I'd love Storm to lose one of the big 3, but by the 2016 season, sadly I don't think Slater will still be a top class fullback. He's going to be 33 next year, not many fullbacks last much beyond that. I'd be very surprised if he retired though, I thought he was still outstanding last year.

The Melbourne Big 3 are getting old, you could definitely tell they slowed down last year for the first time, I think they'll be competitive again this year but by next year they'll likely start to decline a fair bit. Although I'm sure Cameron smith will still be a top class player all the way to 35 which is his final contract year. He doesn't seem yo rely on speed at all.
