I would have thought the Cowboys would have gone after him but then I realised they are so well served with Townsend and Dearbutnothingdone.

I would be slightly concerned about Titans next year with their spine:

1. Campbell (looks an excellent talent and I'd say he impressed me slightly more than Walsh at times... but that was after teams started to figure Walsh out... candidate for second year syndrome)
6. Brimson (largely untried at 6 and looked a little lost last year after injury)
7. Sexton (huge call to give him the keys to the team with very little experience around him)
9. Clark?? (I think they picked up Booth from storm as well, but no real standouts for hooker)

Of course NSWRL will protect their little darling team on the Tweed with a soft as **** draw, but I expect they will get some serious scorelines put on them next year.

I could've sworn he was being used in the forwards for a few games at Souths, he's put on the muscle/kgs for sure.
Interesting to see how they play him in the team if it eventuates.

Just when you think there are no more obscure ex-Broncos for the Dragons to sign, out struts Moga. I'm just waiting for Daniel Vidot to give up on his wrestling dream and sign with the Red V.

They performed a big cleanout at the end of 2020, not only that but they freed up cash from no longer needing to pay for Mbye and Klemmer plus they got rid of Foran who was taking up a large chunk.

Burns is a fringe first grader and wouldn't have cost much.

so on top of the Hodgson to Tigers reports, which will probably happen if the Tigers and Raiders can agree on how much of Hodgson's reported 800k salary the Raiders will pick up for 2023

Brent Read is reporting that the Eels are targeting Nick Cotric for next season, the Bulldogs want to free up some cap space.

Brent Read says

“Nick Cotric has been linked with Parramatta a while ago,” Read said on Triple M.

“He is on a big deal at Canterbury.

“My understanding is that he is still on Parramatta’s radar and there is still a chance that something could happen there with Nick Cotric.

“When you think about that Parramatta side Blake Ferguson has left and Maika Sivo injured his knee in the latter stages of the year and may miss the start of next year.

“They are really short in the outside backs and Nick Cotric is on their radar and there is the potential for a deal to be done there.

“Canterbury have a really tight salary cap. With Canterbury’s salary cap and the way it is placed their top five players, none of them are spine players.

“Spine is a real weakness at that club and it needs to be reshaped. The cap needs to be reshaped and the squad needs to be reshaped.

“The only way you can do that is by moving players who are attractive to other clubs and Nick Cotric is one of those guys.”
