Teams are in!

Looking forward to the Sharks/Panthers game. Cronulla are the form team of 2024 and seemingly everything is falling their way up. In contrast you've got the Panthers who put in their worst performance since 2019 in their shock loss to the Warriors. It's a good opportunity for the Sharks to flex their muscles and for the likes of Hynes, McInnes etc. to book their spots in Origin. Or they could be exposed, it was around this time last year where the wheels started to come off for the Sharks.

That Tigers backline is pretty dire, and that’s something for the Tigers

Declan Casey is a name I’ve heard before I think, no idea on the other. Decent NSW cups players at least?

Was he at the dogs and then did his ACL or something early on after getting into NRL?

Something like that, it was a bad head knock according to google.

I don't really remember much about him, other than the Bulldogs were incredibly desperate after they essentially lost their entire backline and they just threw Declan in. I think he gave an honest account and was a solid enough depth option.

Feledy was the U/19s centre for NSW. He played some NRL late last year and was raw as anything. I haven't seen enough of him, but he struck as a Jack Bird type of centre who enjoys good early ball so he can use his foot-work and fend to help create opportunities. He predominately plays down the left so he'll be up against it taking on a desperate Valentine Holmes. His defence on Caleb Jackson in U/19s didn't fill me with a lot of hope, I'll be interested if he's developed better habits since.

I dont get the Doggies' obsession with running multiple 80kg middles and giving them huge minutes. Mann has been trash, that Hayward dude they give big minutes to off the bench is horrid, Morrin tries but he has zero impact, and Salmon is a WGD of course

Morrin is kind of like a Brandon Smith crash and bash player that just rips in. I think he’s got the value to stay in the 17 but probably not with a bench full of similar sized players like you say.

Salmon is just a tackle bot, and haven’t really seen enough of Hayward to judge him yet

AFB stood down by the Wahs. No doubt agitating for an early release

Where's Clint and the RLPA now??

One of his members appears to be refusing to play so he can agitate for a release to a contender club.

He's pulling this stunt right on June 30... although I have no idea when the cut off is nowadays... so presumably he's got max money out of his Wahs contract and looking to cease this contract, sign for unders to a contender and try and win a prem.

If this is the case then NRL need to step in and indicate that he cant play for the length of his current contract ie. his Wahs deal which now finishes Nov 1 this year.

I tell you what, when you think that AFB pulls this after they have a win that could really kick start their season, you'd have to be annoyed if you are a Warriors' fan.

He should get booed at the next home game like Haas was

Man I hope he doesn't joins the Sharks this year. It's not right and they'd become so hard to beat.
