NRL Round 20 Discussion

Why are all the knights chasing through... you only need one for the charge down

He absolutely wasnt square but you cant just start ruling on that now, via the bunker when it was leg contact that was challenged...
Cost the knights the game and might've cost us a top 4 spot. Will the officials have to answer for it? Nope

Hilarious but that's cost me in my work tipping comp. I was the only person to tip the Knights.

They are within the rules. The whole play gets looked at. It's clever but it's bullshit too.
They should have stopped it when Tedesco started doing it a few years ago.
The bunker should only look at what was challenged.

Funny though that Boyd kind of won it through stuffing up, fitting.

What happened? I turned it off when Warriors missed the penalty.

Except it's not in the rules

Captains can't use their challenges on discretionary calls... otherwise they'd be calling captain's challenges on markers not square, held/not held, offside, etc.

Is it because it was a field goal they can check it? Maybe that's it. If it isn't Chris Butler should be sacked for the year. He is dreadful.

Only if the ref refers it to the bunker can they check all of that... in this one it's specifically a captains challenge because he sends it up and talks to the bunker about what theyre challenging

So dodgy calls cost Newcastle and St George this round. I guess all four refs are in line for a promotion.
