It'll be interesting if the Panthers limp into the finals outside the top 4 but then have a fully fit 17. It's not like they have a home ground anyway, I wouldn't put it past them.

Yep if they have Cleary, Edwards, Leota, Yeo, To'o and Martin, they will always be a chance to win it from anywhere in the 8.

Which is exactly why it was obvious that for once the refs weren't sucking the cream out of Penrith. Any other game and they'd have awarded that.

78th minute last night when a Souths player was sin binned. You can hear Walker say challenge it but the ref tells him he can't.

When he does you can hear a Souths player in the background say "there's no challenge, shut up."

Walker responds, "I know you fucking idiot shut up. Shut the **** up." Some more rambling after that but can't hear what's being said.

It looks like that player Walker was talking to was Keppie. It could have been Jai, though.

And yet no mention from the media of disharmony in the group. If that were Broncos, we would already have half a dozen articles with one of them from Buzz.

I think the ref was telling him that he can't challenge it in general because it was a ruck infringement which is discretionary (as long as the ball didn't come loose).

Souths also gave away 3 penalties in that 1 ruck... basically begging to be binned
