didn't the Knights have some special clause written in when Tinkler bought them which was supposed to save them from getting fucked over by Tinker's mismanagement?

Either way I want to see the Knights survive. as long as the NRL takeover is just a stopgap then it doesn't seem like a biggie. Step in and help them get their shit together and then let them get back on their own feet

My opinion as well tbh. Although, Smith had handled the media side of things terribly IMO.
