curious about hipgrave.. thr guys have hardly been dominating in the middle of the park of late. if theyre just pissing it in he & tpj should just start getting broken in in ISC first chance!

outside of su'a and pangai the depth looks really ordinary from this crop.
a lot of these lads are still 18 so they have time but there isnt a real standout especially amongst the backline.

Why take them out? Those guys being Hipgrave TPJ Sua, they have a real opportunity to learn about leadership and digging deep. It is a young side and thats even evident with Sua being a more experienced player still at 18. They could have beaten the Cowboys last week so are hardly out of the game. Taking 3 of the top players out of last years team and it would not have been as successful. Leave those 3 in and this team will build each week. Couple of the young guns looked to fire last week so hope they go well against the Titans. Anyone going to watch this game?

Shibaski looked a strong centre and just needs to straighten up a bit. Fullback outplayed his opposite too. Hipgrave will be interesting in backrow this week.

Shibaski is improving each week.
Hipgrave played a couple of games last year at backrow and got caught out defending on the edges not knowing how to read the play.

Yeah probably more suited to crash and bash in attack also whuch he is known for. Type of player that gives 100 though so will be good to see if he can do that with more minutes.

Broncos lead 10-6.

Tries to Hipgrave & Saitaua.

Former Broncos scholarship holder Ethan Roberts scored for the Titans.

It appears there's a late change for the Broncos. Could anyone fill us in?

40-10 lead to the Broncos 77th minute.

Allen scored on the siren.

Brisbane Broncos 48
(Shibasaki 2, Brimson 2, Hipgrave, Saitaua, Hope, S'ua, Allen tries; O'Hara 6 goals)

Gold Coast Titans 10
(Roberts, Kelly tries; Roberts-Davis 1 goal)

Sounds like the boys had their best game of the season.

pangai was the real big difference tonight, sua was good too. it will be a tougher year for him as he had taylor and nikorma feeding him last year. good thing though he went looking for the ball and was damaging.
faiud was dangwrous tonight, very light feet and good pace. made some very insithing runs and a good long break from his own 20 as well.
hipgrave was his usual hardself but his rubbish and niggle is a big detraction.
as for alick, ohara, saitua, and allan you can put a line through them.
shibasaki was ok early but drifted out of the game. i reckon he has upside still but needs more involvement.
the rest of the group are also rans and dont seem to have much going on.

Thanks for the update mate ☺

Sounds like Tevita is killing it almost every week, hope he gets a run at Origin time.
