Gets the field goal for the Warriors on full-time just to rub it in.
Full-time Warriors 45, Broncos 10.
Broncos go out in straight sets. It's disappointing for them but after losing Paul Byrnes, Jayden Nikorima and Ash Taylor among others it was always going to be tough. Like in 2009, could make a case that this squad was better than the one that made it in 2014 but nothing went their way.
Tonight sums it up. Despite the scoreline, I thought the Broncos were very brave and the difference between the two teams were the key positions. Had those players played for the Broncos, the scoreline would have read completely differently. Unfortunately they didn't and the Warriors had Abbey and Hingano to lead the way and they did a great job of controlling possession.
Still, plenty of good signs moving forward for the Broncos. As Danoz mentioned, S'ua and Hipgrave both had some nice touches but the stand outs for mine would have to be the experienced players. Guys like Arrow, Berrell, Drew & Saitua came up with some big plays and they looked the most likely for the Broncos.
