If the player in question is Pangai Jnr, I would probably pass. We don't really need another backrower. I would be interested in a young frontrower from Manly though. Liam Knight. He looks a real player of the future.

I would love that, not just because he's a good player but because I went to school with him. Growing up in Alice Springs that isn't common. I haven't seen any bad news about him so not too concerned but he always used to be a loose cannon so I might be concerned about that.

I'm a massive fan of Glenn however if we have to lose someone he definitely makes the most sense. We are stacked for quality backrowers and out of all of them he makes the least impact.

He does the most work of all backrowers except Parker. I would take Glenn over Gillett any day.

I think we need Glenn on the left edge. Otherwise the impact of Milford's pace is diminished when the support on his outside is Gillett, Reed and Oates.

Not sure how Gillett would matter. He plays on the right. And he isn't as slow as people think.
And Oates is one of the fastest players we have. Look at Feldt's try in Round 3 against the Cowboys. Look at how quick he was getting to the other side of the field.
Unless I'm completely misunderstanding you.. If that's the case, forget what I said.

Not really true, in 2015 Gillett got through a ton of tackles, considerable more then Glenn, while Glenn won in total metres.

If we move Glenn on Thaiday likely goes back to the right side. And Oates has a good top speed but his acceleration is hampered by his sheer size.

Having 1910 and Daniel considered equal in terms of delivering inside mail is a little harsh on 1910 IMO

I'd happily lose Glenn. The moment he re-signed he turned to turd. Milford made him look good, yet he's still not powerful, fast, or a workhorse.
I'd say Gillett's power-running would be much better suited on the left outside Milford (think Gavin Cooper), with Thaiday going to his best position on the right edge.
It leaves the bench light on experience. But assuming the bulk of the 2015 bench retain their spots, they're all a year older and wiser.
