Origin Tickets - Game 1 and 3 - Lang Park

I was going to post this in the origin forum, but thought it would easily be missed there and was very important!! I know last year that a lot of people weren't aware they were going on sale and missed out.

Tickets for Game 1 (25 May) and 3 (6 July) at Lang Park go on sale tomorrow morning at 9 am via Ticketek.

The game in NSW does need all the advertising it can get! [icon_lol1.
Getting through ticketek tomorrow morning is going to be painfull. Last time I got tickets for Origin, it took me 20 mins to get in, and most stands were already limited availability! [icon_non

ticketek site was much better this year. got 12 tickets to game 1. row 13 in 311 and row 13 in 310

Was shitting myself cos Internet connection dropped out after I entered my ticketek login info, but recovered beautifully.

You can't fault Ticketek for their process for tickets to big events. Their website is flawless.

Yeah Ticketeck always works without fail for me. I shudder at those who have to buy through Ticketmaster for big events. It's an awful system.

I was planning on only getting tickets for game 3. Once I had those I got that Origin feeling, logged straight back into Ticketek and got tickets for game 1 too.

Can't bloody wait, bring on the 6 pack!

I sat there at 8:30am, refreshing all the way up until 9am when the "GET TICKETS" button showed.... slowly, it allowed me to select tickets.. tried both 6 tickets in cat2 licenced, and 6 tickets in cat3 licenced (by this time i was 9:02am)... BOTH put me up in Section 717 and 718... fucken pathetic.

So I decided just to go 4 in 527..

Tickettek is shit.

Try a box office if you're after a specific section.

Mal for big events like this you just need to select 'Best available' and take the first offer. You can't be picky when tickets are going to sell out quickly, unless you go to a box office like Steve said.

Sent a guy in Sydney to get tickets, he went down at 10am (9am Qld) to Ticketek walked straight in and got tickets for SOO1 there was no lineup, and better still he's paying icon_thumbs_u
