Kennedy is arguably the worst player in the NRL.
Croft says hiTPJ and Riki are fine edges. Kennedy is arguably the worst player in the NRL.
Yeah, Kikau, NAS and other big blokes used by the top teams are constantly running at halfbacks these days because it's totally ineffective and leads to poor meters, no tries and the halves really contain them well. /s
TPJ wants to play in the middle, let him. Riki - has potential from the very limited time we have seen him, hardly a bankable proposition yet.
Kennedy, as far as dollars per quality of performance goes has held up very well. You can't have 30 stars with a salary cap and need some 'fair' quality players to balance the books and in that regard he fits the bill.
You can be overrated without playing any games. Overrated doesn't mean poor quality, as I said in the OP.Jesus, the kid has only played 40 bloody games and there's already a thread about whether he's overrated..
Give the kid some time to actually learn and grow. It's going to take him a good few years before he even hits his stride.
NAS roams, frequently running wide, it's where he's scored most of his tries. Conveniently didn't address Kikau.NAS plays middle. TPJ wants to play middle so you let him, but you move Haas to an edge? Good logic.

TPJ is an fragile ego and he plays better when he gets what he wants.
Haas - has the capabilities to be a Kikau clone, but with better footwork - he displayed this several times last year including in his breakaway try that's on the highlight reels. Why take him out of the middle? His defense is not solid enough for 80 minutes in the middle. If they want to make use of his speed/size, they'll get better return on investment moving him wide and bringing in a real hardnose prop to take his place.
Oates should be coverage at best. Riki - another in the long line of "potential" we have.Haha mate, Haas is nothing like Kikau. They are different styles.
We have Riki now who I am confident in. Oates may play backrow too.

Haas nothing like Kikau? Not a fast for a big tank who bends lines, catches people he shouldn't in cover defense and are almost perfectly the same size? Haas has a different job to do, that's not the same thing.

Oates isn't skillful enough to be an edge backrower, he tucks the ball under both arms and hits the line hard, as an edge backrower you need to have some skill and threaten a pass, he should be used for more crash ball closer to the line. He is an absolute weapon on the wing, but has had a trash year like the rest of the team. Riki has a lot of potential, needs some more minutes this year, I don't understand why we keep using Kennedy and Teo when we can be giving young blokes lots of minutes like Riki and Bull.Haha mate, Haas is nothing like Kikau. He is arguably our best with Staggs(both of them have a lot of work to do defensively)Our best player and should be spoken about for leadership.
You don’t win games without dominating the middle so you don’t move your best player away from there.
Front rowers can attack an edge at any time and have success but defensively they are a liability. Haas can be found out with lateral movement so why put him in a position that makes him even more vulnerable

I was at that game. As a fan of Ashton, it hurt even more.Would have been nice if Ashton Sims did that.
Very well saidMay have come off the boil due to overuse but I’ve got a mountain of respect for him to keep pushing when most other forwards have given up on the season. His little brother just died and a change of coach and still smashing 200m plus in well beaten teams.
Yep the try line defence needs a bit of work and used 2 off the ruck in other plays and an offload in the mix and he’s the best forward in the game.
Absolute gun IMO and criticism comes due to desperation For him to blow games apart which is another cop out on bludging, non performing senior players who need a rocket or to be moved on.
