Piakura's Time on the Field

Was bored, pulled some stats given heaps of posters feel he's prone to a 10-15 min stint off the field...

Thoughts? Are we entering Inflictor levels of risk here for time off the field during a game or is he just continually unlucky (head in place, wrong time). I'm sure all of us are hoping he's all good and he can be our 2RF for a long time, too

I was mostly feeling that he had to change his tackling technique before he had don too much damage.

The way he completely KOd himself with a pretty innocuous put down attempt was quite concerning. Made me wonder if he was already in a bad spot from cumulative perspective. It appears as though his neurological threshold for knock outs is reducing.

Makes me wonder if he needs to take an extended amount of time off to let his brain recover. Like a full season. Which obviously would put us in a bad spot but that’s not his issue

Both of them had a game where they had HIA and then played the rest of the game and the next week got another HIA and didn't come back at all.

Piakura is gaining quick momentum and i wouldn't change anything about his playing style. He could easily make himself one of the best second rowers in the game.

The ones like last weekend can happen to anybody, that one to me was just unlucky and he hit the ground bloody hard. Raiders player copped the same sort of one this weekend trying to score too.

Hopefully the tackle technique ones can continue to be worked on. You'd imagine he is getting sound advice about it all.

The one that concerned me was the HIA vs dogs.

I watched the replays, but could barely even tell where the contact was... it looked like he just collided with his back or something... but he came reeling out of it and looked gone.

Those are the ones where it's like he barely got touched in the head, but came out of it looking like he was goooone... and then on his match winning try it looks like his head collides directly with Tracey's leg and he doesn't even feel it... so who knows
