Ohh I remember that! Was so awesome seeing the US in it. I remember PNG was involved, Fiji. It was such a great weekend of footy. Broncos never did well but I didn't care. Was just great to watch!

I didn't watch much of it over the weekend, but I remember being impressed with some of the PNG players.

Actually I think they finished runners-up the only year they took it seriously if memory serves me correctly.

Correct. 1992. We lost to Wigan in the final. Turned the tables 9 months later :-)
