PM XIII...question

Idris in the centres, while Jenko on the wing? The ****.

Yeah I was scratching my head over the same thing. He's been our best player at the moment. I can understand there are other centres in better form. Morris, Tate etc.

Old man sheens clearly has dementia.

Hodges out of form is laughable. What happened to Idris Pete

I'd take a pretty confident stab that Wallace re-injured his shoulder towards the back end of Origin. Not too dissimilar to many of Pete's previous years - form destroyed by injury. Unfortunately, such are the frequency and regularity of his injury-enforced fade outs that questions must be asked of his mental toughness.

Everyone has a niggle - part of the job description involves minimising the influence of injury on form and confidence through cognitive means. An injury-free Wallace is a fantastic player - some of his runs of form, whilst healthy, have been top shelf.

It's something he, and the club, need to deal with - urgently.

One could argue he stuffed his shoulder carrying Norman for half the season

Browny wins this thread!

On a serious note, I'm glad all the Broncos are pulling out of the end of season rep stuff. Good move. Now, to do the same for Origin next year.... (and pigs might fly).

It's a nothing game, so they might as well just select the most entertaining players to get PNG excited.

Quite a few of our players carrying injuries then.

Yeah - it's interesting actually. I'm assuming they were all playing injured (rather than all injured from our last game). I get the feeling Wallace hurt his shoulder in that game V Penrith when he scored the try. Parker came back earlier than expected. Perhaps Gillett was also carrying a shoulder injury all year and that also contributed to his average form? There's also Hoffman who's not 100%.

Well the positive part of me is thinking that with a fully fit team we can dominate the competition again like we did at the start of the year. Still not sure on Norman though, would much prefer Hunt.

I really think Griffin should re-assess his injury policy. If a player isn't 100% he should seriously consider just giving them the week off. I think we had too many players below 100% this year and it really hurt us in the end. Hoffman for example I think could have benefited greatly from a 2-3 week break.

McCullough has been ruled out with a shoulder injury as well. Kevin Kingston replaces him.

So basically everyone from our team that got selected has some form of injury.

Kingston should have been there ahead of McCullough on form anyway, he has been very good ina very bad team for two years now.

Maybe in 2010 but his form these past couple years has been up and down. McCullough is also fairly inconsistent but he clearly has more talent than Kingston.

Bit surprised Rein didn't get a look in. On form, he was one of if not the most dangerous hooker in the competition.
