Tino is definitely a sensible and mature young man, and he makes a very good captain, but there is a lot of hype being given to him that may affect his game, and that of his team.
I just finished re-watching the match, and there are many times that Tino gets himself into no-man's land at marker, slow to reload from a tackle, and overplays his hand in defense. He certainly does have a high output in defense, but he looked gassed quite early in that match and the commentators were still drooling over his efforts, rather than pointing out that he was lucky not to be targeted more for being slow to get back into the defensive line.
The Broncos targeted him before he was sent off, and the ref should have actually penalised him earlier in that set with a six-again. The commentators (Parker, I think) missed him being called out for being too deep the first time, but it was there. It easily could have happened 20-30 min into the match as well.
