I want to know peoples opinions on players from other sports that you think the broncos would be great to poach from Union, Afl etc.

For me I'd love to take the risk with a bit of a left field option and sign Semi Radradra to play fullback. He's fast, strong, elusive and is getting close to the end of his career which means guys like Cobbo won't feel like they're stuck long term behind another fullback then leave our great club.

We all remember what he did on the wing for Parramatta back in the day and he's running game but now playing Union he's developed a great short passing game and an even better offload. He's definitely someone we should look at.

Check out his highlights below.

Obviously when we say players from other sports really the only option would be Union and very unlikely a AFL player or NFL (so unrealistic I know but only other code that suits). From Union I can’t see to many people overseas leaving as the earning capacity seems to be higher in European rugby countries than the NRL. Therefore the only options would be coming out of Australian, New Zealand and possibly South African Rugby.

Union to League is a weird one because really only outside backs and back rowers in union can translate to league just by how players play and how they are built.
Just running off a few names:
Australia
Jordan Petaia
Fraser Mcreight
Suliasi Vunivalu
Isi Naisarani (possibly)
Jack Dempsey (right sort of build)

New Zealand
Jordie Barrett
Caleb Clarke
Sevu Reece
Rieko Ioane
Damien McKenzie
David Havili
Richie Mo’unga (possibly the only 10 (union) in the world I reckon could make the crossover)
Akira Ionae
Ardie Savea
Dalton Papalii
TJ Perenara
Aaron Smith (his passing is so so so so good)

South Africa
Cheslin Kolbe
Faf De Klerk
Siya Kolisi
Willie Le Roux
Makazole Mapimpi

there’s some others in other countries like Taulagi, Tom Curry, Anthony Watson, Semi Radradra as you mentioned. I don’t know about AFL enough other than the Lions of who could but I think that’s a no go zone. NFL it’s not like we could afford them but if some of there players has the physicality without the pads and helmets they’d be weapons in our game.

The British breaststroke swimmer, Adam Peady I think it is.

I wonder if Radradra will ever return to NRL. Probably not if he's making good coin

Prime Bakkies Botha.

Or Eben Etzebeth

Honestly, if the NRL could just completely pillage Union on a global scale, you could put another 4 teams in the comp and they would all do well.

Quade Cooper enough said.

/end thread
He'd be a good backup for Billy Walters if we could get him on train and trial. Though we already have a lot of Kiwis on the books.
