And their field won't be half farked, hopefully playing on a better surface will also help us.
Mate it's in Melbourne... it'll be dewy as ****... last year Cobbo was on ice skates.

I'm just hoping the boys pack the long studs for once

Well I hope I don't put the mocker on the Broncos against the Storm , but my partner and I are flying down to Melbourne tomorrow for a week to celebrate my 60 th.
We'll be at the game with Broncs jersey and scarves on, so hopefully we stay dry and the boys give those wankers a hiding.
GO BRONCOS....

He's definitely speedrunning Gordon Tallis' hate for the club.
It’s funny, I saw an interview with Gordon the other day, he was almost praising the club and then the interviewer reminded him of his Tits role and he just the Broncs are doing well.. It was on Kayo/fox can’t remember the context now.

We scrambled well and defended our goal line well, but we can't go into this game with that edge defence we displayed tonight.

Storm will make you pay for it.

We'll need our Parra game first half and our Tits game second half to have a hope.

Cod snap coming through Melbourne, this will say everything about our credentials this year.

Every team has been making us pay for it so far this year... we must play extremely condensed in defence during yardage, because teams always seem to look for an early shift against us and get outside pretty easily.

What about Parker on Fox saying that as great as Walshy has been .. he can't see him being chosen over KP for Origin.. because KP won them Game 3 last year. lol.

Honestly believe that CP has turned full nsw.
Parker is an absolute tool and often just speaks absolute bias jibberish but without seeing him say it I can understand what he means here.

Qld selectors are fiercely loyal and require more than a few seasons of great form to usurp a current player who has been great at that level (except if your name is corey oates... or it just generally suits them - eg cowboys players last year).

Unless you've attended every broncos vs storm game bar the 2006 gf for the past 20 years then I doubt anyone will think you're the curse.....

Awwww man....................leave me to my delusion..............................I'm just hanging out for a fast track and game where the boys aren't slipping and sliding all over the fricken place all game.

I don't see how he's wrong. That's going to matter when it comes time to select the team.

Ponga doesn't need to be in better form than Walsh, he just needs to be fit. He's the incumbent. He's proven at Origin level and Parker is right that he won QLD the series last year.

I've never really got the whole "pick on form" debate when it comes to Origin. I can get that when you're selecting new players, but when you're selecting players that have been there and are proven at that level, form means jack. Origin has a way of making players find form. The Broncos players in '07 for example.

I want to see us bully the Storm through the middle next week. That's their weakness this year, they're missing the blokes they lost to the Dolphins and I want to see us take it to them up the guts. We seem to want to spread the ball so much rather than just play direct, I'd like to see us go through teams more rather than around them. Hammering the middle also provides more space when the ball does get to the outside. I know our edge attack is our strength but I feel we have a lot of improvement in our power game still.

I'm not convinced Kev has the right bench usage to get the most out of everyone, I'm not sure Patty and Payne shouldn't be doing whole halves like that IMO. Just because they have big motors doesn't mean they should be flogged to exhaustion. It's hard to be critical because we're winning but I don't think our rotation is quite right.
