I'm pleased he got a ban as i think the tackle deserved a ban, but it does highlight the huge inconsistency in the gradings. There is no way Fafusi's tackle had more force than Suaalii. As i've said from the start, they are both unnaceptable tackles in todays game. Neither should have a grade, just a ban.

The MRC fucked up Suaalii's grading big time... perhaps tonight's result was more about stopping it from being used in the future to get bad ones continually downgraded because everyone just keeps referring back to it.

They should effectively come out and say that Suaalii's has been retrospectively upgraded to a Grade 2 from a precedent perspective moving forward.

The only thing that makes me think he got a Grade 1 and Kaufusi got a Grade 2 is the speed in which Kaufusi came flying into the tackle. It had the potential to have more serious consequences.
