These preseason games are all really low quality, the NRL should make the prize 1m or make the 100k a cap discount so teams actually have an incentive to care. 100k is absolute chump change, no coach will care.

It's a modified game played without intensity or strategy and they are extremely boring to watch. The MAFS Commitment Ceremony would be more entertaining.

Hopefully they'll implement a proper preseason comp in the future where the rules are more in line with the regular season. They are probably monitoring the ratings this year to decipher if their would be any fan interest.
