POST GAME [PREMIERS, 2025] Broncos vs Storm

Finally back at the hotel and have battery again.

A complete nervous wreck after we pulled ahead. Full time hooter went and was in actual tears, hugging the old man.

We were there in 23, and this feeling is something else.

I actually had to sit down again my knees went weak from all the adrenaline and competing emotions of joy and relief. I was surprised it affected me that much.

My heart can’t take any of this again, but man what a feeling all the same.

Adding to the women’s GF and it’s been the best weekend in living memory.

Hetherington had a great performance too. Poked his head through several times, including one with the the quick PTB which gave Walsh the space to score.
Gonna miss him next year too.

Mate if Walsh keeps playing the way he is we actually don't need a specialist halfback at all. You could really have someone really basic that can defend well and as long as he can get ball to Walsh your golden. Walsh can handle kicking duties as well the bloke this past few months has been an absolute freak.
In his post interview he said he didn’t drink all year and you could tell. His fitness this year was insane. These boys were so disciplined the past few months and they got rewarded for it

Walsh is legit.
His trajectory is now insane with a GF under his belt at his age.
Him and Haas are the backbone of this club and we need to do everything we can to keep those two as one club players.
The only two that are 100% priority.

So many feel good stories.

Hunts redemption, Maguires redemption from the media, Reyno getting us there, HAAS HARD WORK FINALLY PAYING OFF.

Our wingers and Shiba coming from nowhere to premiership level players.

Seeing Hunt post game was one of the most emotional moments I’ve had watching this sport, that 2015 chapter can be closed for good.

Thought that was the best game I have ever seen Hetherington play. For me taking out Penrith with a come from behind win felt like winning the GF and this is just the cherry on top. Beating the Storm to win it just makes it so much sweeter.

I feel like he’s been building over the last month or so. He played his best game when we needed it tonight.
