Does anyone know if the club ended up paying for premiership rings for other squad members that played regularly I.e. Billy, jetski, talty, hunt, cobbo?

I know maguire gave his souths premiership ring to Isaac Luke (because he was suspended for the GF), but now knowing how rare it is to get one, he may not be so keen to give it to someone else.

Nevermind, just saw that the broncos purchased one for all the top 30 squad.

Billy was wondering around with a ring, so I wonder if that was Madge's ring, because they wouldn't have had the extra ones ready to go on the night

I don't know the rules about posting the full article these days ...

but here is what Bennett said:

“I am really pleased for the club,

“The directors always wanted the Broncos to be a force - the original owners always built the Broncos for success and it was great to see them do it.

“I watched it at home. The final series was simply outstanding. There have been other great finals series but this was as good as it gets, it was a great month of football.

“I remember we lost in 2015 on the last play of the game and that last play from Reece Walsh (his trysaving tackle on Ryan Papenhuyzen) was huge. His try was magnificent, but Jahrome Hughes scored a magnificent try, too, and unfortunately that won’t be remembered as much.

“I was happy for all the Broncos players and supporters. Having done it myself, I know what it meant to them all and it’s wonderful for the club.

“It’s great for rugby league when a big club like the Broncos is winning premierships.”

1st rewatch?! I think ive rewatched it about 9 times, not to mention the highlights hahaha. Told my wife the season is still going!
