Just the ultimate champions. Beat every single top team on the way to this game. They deserved this.
 
What a run this has been boys and girls. Unreal feeling, awesome end to the shittest year of my life. I wore my kakahu tu taua 2017 9's jersey for this, same one I wore to my dad's funeral earlier in the year. Everyone wore either Broncos jerseys or All Blacks jerseys. He would have bloody loved this run and especially this grand final win. Anyway, don't mean to make this about me but it just means a bloody lot! Hard to describe the relief and the joy. Most of these blokes have put us thru hell on occasion but it was all so, so worth it. Won't ever forget this night!

Yup, we have cover in the half’s.
Billy, I reckon won’t be taking the field until mid to late July as he needs to undergo surgery.

Mate, my heart goes out to you. I lost my dad a month after the 2023 GF. This one feels real bittersweet, but I know he'd have bloody loved it.
