POST GAME [PREMIERS, 2025] Broncos vs Storm

It's been 19 years.

Ended up bawling after Penrith's game, and certainly after this one too.

One for the OG fans if you are old enough to live those 19 years.

I personally think that was the hard one to crack, massive pressure from 2015/2023 GFs (just the way we lost them)
Now that we can move on, and play WITHOUT pressure in the next GF, and I think we'll brain them.

This current crop should be contending, and the aim should be top 4 for next 3-4 years, to give yourself a shot at the title.

At some point in time, you have to beat Penrith/Storm in the finals.
We did that this year.

Deserved champions.
 
I think this premiership easily surpasses all the previous ones for me because of our collective experiences in coming through the 19 year drought. When we won in 2006 we were certainly expecting to be back again very soon with Hodges, Tate, Hunt, Lockyer, Berrigan, Thorn, Carroll, Petero in the side.

'98 is probably a close 2nd because of everyone dismissing our 97 win.

Ain't reading 20 pages but that was the greatest GF I've seen. I still cannot believe it. I'm afraid I'll wake up and it was a dream.

So happy for all the players, especially Hunt. Man, a decade on, comes back and in the first year gets a premiership.

Walsh, greatest performance in GF ever, surely?
