TBH this whole situation pisses me off

Easts linked with Storm or Kevvie going to the Storm or just Storm??

Kevvie going to the Storm.

Having the Storm as a feeder club is really not that bad, could be worse could be Manly. And at the end of the day, the Storm will not use the Tigers that much anyway.

All of it. Have been involved with a Storm feeder club before and they basically treated the non-contracted AND their Colts scholarship players like shit.

Plus it seems as if Easts have really burnt their bridges with the Broncos in this process.

So does Trigger take the reigns?

Talk is they want a "high profile " coach to help attract players. But IMO Trigger would do a very good job

Easts back at training this week with new coach Troy McCarthy. McCarthy's last coaching appointment was when he took the Tweed Seagulls to the premiership a couple of years ago. Additionally, every team he has coached since 1999 has made their competition's grand final. Trigger is his assistant.

A good appointment IMO.

Also clearing up the Storm feeder relationship. The Storm arrangement with Cronulla will see their "reserves" play in the NSW Cup each. Easts will have the services of the players the Storm consider to be #s 26, 27 & 28 on their books (so not NRL-contracted, but in the Storm system). Which also puts paid to the Storm's crap about they don't know if they'll even be able to have 25 players on their books - given they've already identified they will have at least 28 to choose from when offering up contracts.

And at this stage, there is no truth to the rumours that have swept through the Tigers players of The Hornet being off to Melbourne. But a couple of the younger Tigs are heading down to join the Storm pre-season training in a couple of weeks.

+ Trigger doesn't want the pressure for some reason.

He's an excellent coach, going places. Got the best out of Matt Gillett for colts a couple of years back icon_thumbs_u

You reckon? I agree he is a very good coach but for mine MG's season at Wests under Trigger was one of his worst attitude wise.

Carmichael got him back on track at Norths and then Henjak & Griffin took him to the next level this year.
