I wouldnt pick hodges. Has never really stood up in origin. I like Chambers or Gagai for the centre spot alongside inglis. Chambers combination with slater, smith and cronk would really worry NSW

I only threw Hodges' name into the ring because he has been in ok form this season so far, I would still select Tate before him.

My order of preference in the centres would be something like;

Inglis
Tate (based on experience and how much he lifts for Origin)
Hodges (I know he hasn't ever been a superstar in Origin, but I would still have him as a front runner for selection based on experience and ability. However I would ONLY select him if he's 100%)
Chambers
Neilsen/Gagai (Neilsen for solid defence and familiarity with Smith/Cronk/Slater, Gagai I would have as a bolter for the right wing spot this year)
