Australia have confirmed three of the four players unused for the second Test in Abu Dhabi will return home tonight as the national side’s brains trust grapples with a complex set of selection calls ahead of the first Test of the home summer.
Cricket Australia announced today that Matthew Renshaw, Brendan Doggett and Michael Neser will fly home to Australia after they were overlooked for the second Test against Pakistan.

Queensland really struggling to take wickets.

Tas 6/310.

Tas 355

Bulls batting now.

355 probably isn't too bad from 6/310.

Bulls 5/80

McSweeney 24* and top run scorer on debut.

Four bowled for the Bulls- all just missed- Bird to Burns was great bowling.

McSweeney goes alright in the field

Bulls still in it (kinda maybe) with Tas 6/101, lead of 308.

That hair is just...so...the wrong decade...by far.

2/29 is already 5/54

Another 285 seems a bit off at this stage.

Scans have confirmed Usman Khawaja suffered a meniscal tear in a training mishap yesterday. Usual recovery in 4-6 weeks if he opts for meniscectomy (trim of the damaged meniscus). If he requires meniscus repair surgery (less common) would be 3-6 months recovery.

Renshaw 145- took 36 balls to get off the mark.
Burns 216
Doggett 3 wickets
McSweeney 90

Would love to see them change the top order a little to:

1. Bryant
2. Renshaw
3. Burns
4. Heazlett

Dump Hemphrey and go with the youth. Feldman is stiff not to get a gig too but need to go with youth even though he has never ever let the Bulls down. In another era, he wold have likely played tests for Australia.
