Bulls bowling- gutsy in Adelaide.

SA 1/7

Marnus bowling on day 1 of a shield match is crap. This is why he shouldn't be captain.

SA 1/68.

Apart from Hunt's questionable leave it's been pretty chanceless.

Pathetic leave from McSweeney. He really needs to look to score way more if he wants to get back into the Australian team.

Ended up a day Queensland win in the end.

Good comeback.

Bulls 1/50

Lovell gone for 4.

It's so slow- for the Lovell wicket SA had three slips and Carey very close to the bat. It's like an U12 game.

Labuschagne- 71*

Bulls 2/139

Batting in Adelaide and day two just after lunch and you're on 71- this is a chance to go big and really record a huge 100.

Marnus is already locked in for the Ashes now. Just a matter of where he bats now. I'll take a sneaky bet on him for must runs in the series.

**** me dead there’s been some shithouse batting tossed up to start the year.

Marnus will be at 3 I dare say.

Weatherald dare I also say could be the opener.

Khawaja has started the year decentlyish compared to most of the batters this year so not as concerned as I was.

I don't think it's all doom and gloom tbh. Renshaw, Weatherald, and Labs are all in great form, Green was fantastic last test series we played, Smith is Smith, Webster has been good with bat and ball. Head and Khawaja are the test regulars who are probably the most troublesome rn: both are in patchy form, but obviously have runs on the board at test level.

Our tail without Cummo is horrific, however.

Yeah Starc is pretty handy obviously but falls away after that with Boland, Hazlewood and Lyon.
Labs will definitely be in the side which is great, just a question of where.
