CRICKET Queensland Bulls 25/26

That’s the first ball I’ve watched all game. You are all welcome.

Cricket is a weird game sometimes. I saw the scorecard and thought the Bulls must have put on a bowling masterclass....

5 caught behinds down the leg side. The Bulls will take that

Great game from Floros.

Terrific win. Wouldn’t say the Bulls were great but every chance they took.

I know Marnus got wickets but really he shouldn't be bowling. Imagine him getting injured bowling when he's our most important batsmen moving into the Ashes.

He’s been bowling a lot all season. He seems to think he’s a genuine all rounder and as captain, he overbowls himself a lot. He’s been bringing himself on as first change at times in FC.

He's bowled himself much more in Shield than OD. he's bowled 300 balls in three Shield games which still isn't a lot it's only 8 overs an innings and the Bulls have had some pretty thin line bowling line ups. They were trying to get through their overs pretty quickly last game to get a crack at a total, and they had two bowlers on debut, so he bowled 19 overs which is a big chunk of that bowling- 38% to be exact! Both sides used a lot of bowlers.

OD is only 60 balls across four games.

Peirson joins Seccombe on six catches for Qld in a one-day innings.

Seccombe 6- 94/95 v Zimbabwe
Peirson 6- 25/26 v Blues
Healy 5- 95/96 v Tasmania
Seccombe 5-96/97 v Pakistan
Peirson 5 -23/24 v Blues

Bulls 2's.

Burdon 101.
Jain 125.
Palombo 106
Lovell 50
Weibgen 70

Sinfeld 3/96 and 4/29
Geyer 2/96
Jeh 3/62

10 wickets by two Qld spinners and Sinfeld now has 15 wickets at 13 for the second 11 competition.

Qld win by 45 runs.

Jain will be looking at a Shield debut with that 2nd XI ton and 150 average in Grade.

Will be interesting to see if Lovell or Marnus opens.

Warriors send the Bulls in.

What old school is that ?
Maybe in England not in Oz . Win the toss and bat is the way Ozzies play .
Only Nasser Hussien wins the toss and bowls in Oz .

WA have always sent teams in at Perth.

1/77 at lunch would imply they might not have made the best call. The ball has swung a bit though. Renshaw has batted pretty well, albeit with a bit of luck.
