CRICKET Queensland Bulls 25/26

But you also have to ask...has Bartlett put himself in test bolter contention? He's done amazing well at limited over internationals, dude has a great FC record with ball and can clearly bat, thus strengthening Aus's tail.

If Aus decide to go without Lyon, drop Khawaja and play Webster, does Bartlett bolt into contention?

Great win by the Bulls. The pink ball under lights certainly sings.

Sandhu was outstanding - his early spell to Harris where he beat the bat countless times was brilliant.

Three wickets in an over is always fun! Last 6/29 they just routed Victoria.

It's a different game at night.

Two spinners in a Bulls team in Brisbane!

Burdon rewarded for his big 216 off 216.

The Whitney caught and bowled of Kosntas is handy. Great snag. SCG playing really flat this year it would appear. Sure our bowling line up is pretty raw.

****en hell we made Charlie Stobo look like Pat Cummins. Really shocking effort.

Not trying to make excuses for the batters, but this does happen at the SCG sometimes. Pitch baked under 38 degrees for two days and when the Bulls went into bat arvo on day 2, all the divets had hardened up and the pitch was seaming, shooting low and also kicking off a length.

Horrendous toss to loose, NSW also batted well and then bowled extremely well on a pitch that helped them that afternoon. You could see how the heavy roller flattened the divets out by the morning of day 3. The bottom 5 Bulls batters faced more balls than the top 6.

Dropping catches cost the Bulls as well - Konstas dropped in the slips off Straker when odd 30.

Probably a game to forget and the break is timely. By the time the next game rolls around, the big guns will be back - Neser, Bartlett, Marnus, Renshaw. Maybe Usman? Wildermuth back from injury as well.

On the positive side, Hugo Burdon batted well for a half century in he second innings.

Balkin did well last night, he's on the Bulls rookie list and was picked for a few OD to start the season but never got a run. 30 wickets for Toombul last season and had some injuries with his shin this year but was a pretty good debut.

Bic is in love.

He looks like he can have a future particularly with the pace he was sending them down at. Good to see QLD producing another quick.
