I was quite pleased with how Usman handled the kicking of the helmet situation today. He leaves everyone and anyone accountable and that’s what I like about him. He is very black and white and as straight a shooter as possible. No bullshit with him. Glad he is in the squad especially with the lot of the bullshit that seems to be occurring frequently he will happily put someone in there place like he did not long ago to Rishabh Pant when he was talking excessive shit. Quite quickly said sportsmanship is a two way street and if you want to be a **** I will be a ****. Really if he was still in the side rather than being dropped he’d probably be who I would be endorsing for captain right now.

Renshaw didn’t do it to spite the bloke. The **** should be fucken disgraced if he couldn’t have the composure to not fucken boot the helmet 15 metres cause it was in his way. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour especially considering it’s not his and helmets of that standard plus with the Qld wrap are not cheap at all.

Weatherald didn’t need to kick it but I would tell any fielder putting things on the pitch to well and truely get stuffed. He could have put it anywhere- he put it right where he bats. Not supposed to be mucking around in that area.

Batsman has every right to protect the pitch.

Your seriously going to claim he was protecting the pitch how fucken stupid is that… the **** booted a helmet 15 metres the second he got to the strikers end

Imagine if Broad was trying to annoy Smith by leaving a helmet on the pitch- would you be laughing saying what a funny old chap.

It's got nothing to do with you, the same way the ball has nothing to do with a batsman- don't touch it.

It was odd and annoying.

To be honest I’d be backing broad if any of our players did that… absolutely fucken disgraceful
 
That's a terrible way to get out for Street, I hate when players get out dangling the bat.
 
I think Uzzie will try to be the main scorer here… he gets some runs at not out it just probably reignites the debate cause at the end of the day his average is still better than heads.
