I’m all in on Reece Walsh being the generational talent the Broncos haven’t had since Darren Lockyer. It is now important that we put the right things in place to get the best out of him and return us to the very top of the pile.

If by some miracle someone at the club comes onto this forum and has a sticky beak every now and then, please hear my words.
You need to make it a general rule among the playing group in 2025: If any team goes out there next season with the intent to take Walsh out with grubby shit, the team fires up and goes after the ***** hard. I don't care if punches are thrown, I don't care if penalties are given away, make the dirty ***** regret it.
I know we have a lot of good natured blokes in the squad, but it's time to take a stand. I don't give a single **** if the NSW media start blowing up about us being "precious", **** them, protect your players.

Wayne Gretzky is known as one of the best ice hockey players of all time.
What is lesser known is that he was only able to do half of what he did because he played in a team with the meanest and toughest guys in the league. If he got hit that player would be beaten bloody. Thus no one was willing to put a hit on Gretzky and he had all the time in the world to do the pretty stuff.

Not really. They wore the penalty (usually 5 in the box).
If we had a player throw hands, a player from the opposition would usually respond with hands too and then it is 12 v 12.
More space on the field for the quicker/fitter side to play with. Hoping that is brisbane.

Literally a whole role in icehockey enforcer/goon whos job it was to go punish pricks for foul play lol can only dream of a role like that in the NRL

I reckon NRL would start bringing in full send offs if they guys were starting fights for mutual sin bins... instigator sent off if they're super aggressive to start the fight... subsequent fighters binned.
The instigator would also get long suspensions.
You don't even need to be doing this anyway... the trick that's been around for a long time now is to just start pushing and shoving, the ref then has to call time off at which point the bunker takes a look at what happened, and if Walsh has been fouled we will get a penalty... simples ... start a 'fight' to get a penalty.
Sometimes the ref doesn't even bother with the time off and just calls the penalty so we don't all have to sit through the bunker process and wait around for the penalty... they do this on crushers nowadays... bloke stays down holding the back of his neck... penalty blown... bloke gets up and doesn't have to bother with the theatrics.
If I was a ref I'd make the ***** roll around in agony to get their penalty... they'd be ridiculed and laughed at by the media and fans... **** with their ego and see if they keep it up for their soft as **** penalties
