Rep Weekeend Discussion

Did anyone else hear that guy in the crowd who was screaming like a maniac for the entire second half? That fella would have a pretty sore throat.
Yes I was that bloody sick of the idiot...

I kept hearing sounds like a Dolphin getting raped or something
Reminded me of that video of that tennis game that was interrupted due to a human couple go at it

I hate to admit it, but losing Dugan early in the second half stifled the Kangaroos. I was interested to see how Morgan would play in the centres given his style but he really wasn't all that impressive. The only play I recall him making in that position was a tackle on Kahu who was more or less like a crash test dummy out there for the Kiwis.

From that point on, the game sort of petered out. The Kiwis with a couple of consolation tries which were just rewards for their efforts to make ground but the Australians rarely looked under threat, at least not after the Ferguson intercept.

Andrew Fifita is a strange player. On one hand, he's the closest thing the modern game has to Artie Beetson, on the other he can be a real loose cannon. I thought for the most part he involved himself well, but the attention to detail and lack there of is apparent which is why I felt Mal was justified not picking him the first time around.

While there were positives in Fifita's game, I don't think you can say the same for Merrin. I think Australia would have been better off picking Trbojevic at lock and I think Daley ought to go with Jake in the upcoming State of Origin series.

Sounds like Dugan has a broken cheekbone.

One of his family members speaking about it on Facebook.

Merrin was definitely the shittiest of the Australian players IMO.
Kahu seems to make Jack Reed look like Mal Meninga in attack too.

Shaun Johnson seemed intent on sending poor Kahu to hospital tonight. Not sure what more Jordan could have done.

Alec likes his scapegoats... Kahu has been square on his sights for a while now.

As good as Australia was, NZ was really pretty crap and can thank CheatChin for the score not being a complete rout. Within the Kiwi mediocrity, pretty happy that Kahu soldiered on despite being continuously smashed because of the horribles passes he received, and showed his kick accuracy is fantastic.

I hope that one day someone can explain the Shaun Johnson hype in a way that I can understand, because I still really don't get it.
