I don't overly rate either Soward or Pearce....but if I had to take 1 it would be Soward. At least he looks like he's giving it a go, even when things don't pan out. Pearce looks like a passenger.

No way, when the going gets tough I'd rather Soward than Pearce for that reason. Having said that, I wouldn't want either in my team, but if I HAD to choose...

Maybe not when both are in their best form, but at the moment you'd have to say so. Soward is playing light years ahead of how Pearce is at the moment.

I thought you were a closet Dragons fan...surely you'd see how dominant Soward has been, while Pearce has been ok without being spectacular.

Big difference is the Dragons' pack is firing, whereas the Roosters is a popgun pack with big powderpuffs Willie Mason and Mark O'Meley leading the mediocrity train. CHOO CHOO!!!!

I'm with Coxy, Pearce has been going ok, far from solid imo and certainly far from great (albeit in a struggling side) as you suggest. He just goes MIA far too often for my liking. Unless they want to give him a blues jumper, then I'd be quite satisfied with how often he goes MIA!

Unless of course you're saying that Pearce has been great when compared with say....Willie Mason, because he has been truly diabolical which in comparison I guess could make Pearce great. [icon_shru

I rate both Pearce & Soward highly.

Under-estimate them at your peril - they're still learning.

Against the Rooters, I thought Pearce was far more effective than Wallace. Pearce's problem is the Rooters.

Soward against us was simply outstanding. Lockyer & Wallace can learn a lot from his kicking game.

I would take Wallace over both of them purely and simply because of defense. All 3 are at a similar level in attack but Wallace is a mile better than either of them defending.
