[Round 1, 2021] Broncos vs Roosters

That hands on the ball penalty Klein gave roosters early after a beauty of a kick by gamble made me soo cranky! it is so arbitrary, it’s in every tackle yet he decide to pull that one up after Brisbane find a way out of trouble? It just shows no understanding about the game.

it shows something alright ... just not sure it has anything to do with not understanding the game

We are really struggling with the Roosters line speed. Same old story, we are running up hill and they are running downhill. The Roosters seem to be all over the play the ball area preventing clean dummy half service coupled with flat footed forwards.
Momentum is something I hope he address in the off season.

He may have not a lot of metres by his standards but boy a few of those runs from Haas were absolutely barnestorming.

there were a couple close to the line as well ...

but i actually think they are just trying to mix it up a bit, to get some of the attention away from Haas

Personally I think it's better if the other forwards metres are higher sharing the workload, that allows Haas to focus on quality over quantity.

I was sure that Klein just hates the Broncos but now I think he really is just a shit ref. Does any other ref in the comp get over ruled by the bunker more than Klein?
Yeah he is the worst ref... he just misses so many obvious things... but he also misses things for the NSWRL golden kids.
