They should've been marched 10 for his carrying on.

Was interesting at one stage both Reynolds and Hunt are approaching the ref from opposite sides of the field to question a decision .
That might back fire if they don`t get their heirachy sorted .

The time when he wanted a heads up from the ref that he was offside .
Even though it was pretty obvious his team mates got back on the try line but he was 2 metres in front . LOL .

Can’t really blame them since they have both been captains at different clubs over such a long time. Also good to see that the halves are in lockstep and supporting each other.

I thought Teddy put on an admirable showing in the first quarter or so. Some of his kick returns and other efforts were inspiring. He eventually crumbled along with the rest of his team who didn’t even show up and he’s never been great at talking to refs. Became more and more obnoxious the more desperate things got
He has a lot of Braith Anasta about him

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to think that a bloke that has found himself in the sin bin more times than he hasn’t when playing a 10-15 minute role at the end of the game probably can’t handle the waiting and isn’t suited to that role.

Who here genuinely can say they did not expect to see Piakura through the middle at some point throughout that game?

It’s common sense with the kid at this point.

If we were wanting a bloke to play a short stint and cover centre it was far more logical to play Piakura for as long as he can handle then put Gosiewski on from the bench rather than the other way round. Piakura adds a lot of value and explosiveness to the bench and I dare say was part of Madge’s thinking with starting Gosiewski. He has had some good games off the bench playing through the middle. As a matter of a fact most of his best games have had substantial minutes through the middle and you’ve seen the best out of him on the edge later in the games and season consequently.

Dumb decision from Piakura, it’s not Madge who made the dumb decision but it was equally as not smart to put a bloke on 70 minutes later with Piakura’s temperament, history and approach and who probably had no idea what his role was going to be that entire time. So when he makes a dumb mistake you got to look at the bloke making that decision as well.

Kev would have copped it if he had Piakura at his arsenal from the bench and gave him a 10 minute stint at the end.
I actually think Brendan is surplus to our needs if Goz and Riki Keep playing like they did on Thursday night. Piaks is on 550k a year? That money could be used to keep Cobbo at the club. We have enough mobility in the forwards that our second row really only needs to be defensively tight and able to run at the odd hole.

Can’t see how Mam gets back into this side and you wonder if Piaks should be swapped with BTK
So BTK can spend 70mins on the bench??

Both Jensen and Willison played sub 40 mins… there’s only so many minutes to go around when Payne plays 50 and Patty 65

Patty has to sub Kobe at lock, so unless they look at someone else to do that dual prop/lock role off the bench for 30 mins, Pat will always play more.

regardless, we have to make sure X and BTK can be there during origin and play at least 35-40 mins each when we don’t have Payne and Pat

The thing is, because these two were an absolute handful and Willison kept it going, Hetherington backed up these line bending runs brilliantly but getting between defenders and made 131m with 53 post-contact metres himself.

This is the scariest middle in the comp. The only ones in my opinion who can match are once again Penrith and probably on their day, Manly.

Riki finally stepping up too! Hopefully he keeps it up.
