A good solid win to start off.
They were a scrappy and disorganized in the first half but they got better as the game went on and looked a lot better in the second half.
Good to see Johnson scoring a double on debut. Apart from being caught at marker which led to the Tigers try, she had a great debut. She was tested in this game with the Tigers targeting her with their kicks but she handled all of the challenges thrown at her. Had some great takes under pressure.
Lomy had a good debut, as well. Some very strong runs and defensively she held her own. She's going to keep building and I'm excited for it.
Good to have Meeks back in the side. She had a good game.
Still unsure about Maddick on the wing, but I think Robinson had a solid game at centre so I don't see a change.

I know it’s for a good cause, but I really don’t like it.
Obviously Upton and Robbo were standouts but I thought Brill and Ferguson did really well getting out of half and bringing the forwards on to the ball. I wasn’t sure about Spreadbrough at lock but that was a very industrious effort from her today.
Also, Sauaso is going to be a problem for opponents moving forward, id heard the wraps but she is incredibly strong

I was scratching my head when she was first named there because why would you move Joseph from there? But that was a very solid game from her. Ran hard and was strong defensively.
151 run metres and 33 tackles.
I would like to see her develop a passing game from there similar to what we do with Patty.

Bree played mostly lock in BMD Cup for the Capras last year after moving from the backs so it's not really new to her, though I still think Joseph is better taking the 3rd hitup after the two props and has more lock ability/experience
