There will be a lot if games blow out this year on the back of 6 agains.
It's very difficult to regain control of the game.
I wouldn't even be shocked if PVL changes the rule midseason.
Like the refs weren't struggling already, now they have this rule, which just did not need fiddling with.

I HATE six agains. And the moron in charge just keeps making it worse. Who wanted 2021 again? But of course the media are too scared of Hitler to ask these questions.
I hope last night isn't going to be the norm, and was just the ranga making it about himself as usual. But I'm not holding my breath.

The stupid thing is that the NRL and PVL were complaining about blowout scores reducing the number of these was the claimed reason for most of these rule changes ... Then they do the one thing that will guarantee we get more blowout scores, not less

All of this. Last night was shaping up to being a good watch but the 4 six agains that the Eels copped within 10 minutes completely destroyed it.

A trash product.

Followed by the "knock on" that the the bunker must have used the rotation of the Earth to determine the ultimate direction.

Bit like the ol'd days when TDK was a sponsor.
When you have listened to a band like miles from nowhere, be grateful for someone like spider bait at a home game.

How's the smug on Penrith fans?

They think they're just going to dust up the champs by 50 at Suncorp, fair to say my comments weren't well received when I made the suggestion that we could be playing the Burleigh Bears tonight, it doesn't matter, it would still be a sellout. Penrith aren't a drawcard anymore.

They might if the ref decides they need leg ups. Parra is not a 50 point worse side than the Storm and look what happened.

FMD with some of those ref calls from Vegas and last night.
It’s like they’re not even trying…
Meh, this’ll do. Call it (tosses coin), yep knock on….

At the Caxton having a beer if anyone wants to chat

They never were a draw. Imagine the crowds the tigs, eels, or dogs would pull in if they won 4 straight comps

Far as I’m concerned Haas shouldn’t get booed until he wears that souths jersey then he’s fair game.

This time I agree.

It was a different story when he made the release demand miss season

I hope that I am wrong however, I really fear that we put too much effort/focus on winning the WCC and tonight may have been pushed to the side until last week when we arrived back.
I would love nothing more than for us to come out and put on a clinic, picking up from how we finished last year. There is no doubt that need to put a big emphasis on our start. We can't let them get to a 10+ point lead.
The media talk has been so negative (surprise, surprise) since Payne announced he was leaving, again a good win tonight silences the media flogs for a couple of days.
If we get beat, the media will have a field day.
