Round 1 - Broncos vs Eels

How the **** did Seibold coach this team so fucking bad last year? They were literally running in circles bumping into each other. Now they're passing out the back line, and kicking to runners, like every other team. Man, it's not that hard.

I'm worried about the middle rotation.

At some point Carrigan will need a break, and I've got very little trust in Flegler right now.

Dont think we can go Bull and Flegler at the same time so Carrigan probably has to wait till TPJ is ready to go again, except he was gassed in under 20mins

Conflicting reports on Coates, Fox saying he will be back Nine saying he won't?

They're guessing. It all depends on if it was what it looked like and he had hurt his shoulder in an awkward landing or if he is actually concussed.

Tell you what....everytime TPJ runs the ball up, dont care where we are on the field, we need support runners with him, he can give us quality post contact metres with that offload of his....

Things is, can anyone imagine Parra being any worse than this for the rest of the game? Surely they start to isolate Teo there in the centres now that Coates isnt returning...

Geez it would be nice to score first in the 2nd stanza..

It is but what makes me happy is that the boys haven't dropped their heads but this next 40 minutes is where they have been off the pace for so long now. This could really make or break the season.
I'm choosing make.

Need to come out straight off the blocks with a mindset of we are out to win this second half, not just trying to defend it. Can't give Parra a sniff and yes scoring first would go a long way to that.

It absolutely will. A bit of confidence off the back of a good win is exactly what the doctor ordered coming out of last year.

Its interesting that a lot of commentary in and after other games is how good the use of the captain's challenge has been but they are all right because the ref seems to get it wrong 90% of the time.

he would need to pass HIA protocols wouldnt he to come back? Unless its a shoulder/neck issue in which case i doubt we see him again tonight...

This is where we need Payne Haas coming off the bench pissed off as **** he's been dropped from the starting lineup.
