The biggest concern was Kodi Nik hardly seen him the whole half. We need him to run the ball

There were concerns going into the game about our attack.

Our spine has had a very disruptive pre-season. It's going to take us time to get it right. I don't predict it will be tonight.

TPJ was super impressive in his first stint and Isaako has been pretty impressive other than the dropped bomb.

Attack just looks clunky due to lack of match practice, not too worried.

Like i said before, we are clunky because we have a different pair of wingers, a center, full back and Hooker from the trials mostly.

If Wayne wants to protect McCullough, then he needs to pick a real hooker. A decent team would have killed us with the amount of mistakes Thaiday made at the start.

The boys have subsequently not shown enough intent and ball security.

Dragons meanwhile have done at least 5 play the balls I have seen where their foot hasn’t come within cooee of the ball, including the one where they got their try.

So I wouldn’t worry about the “crackdown” boys, it hasn’t even lasted to the first game...

Kodi seems lost. Zero input and poor timing for kicks and position. Is Kodi meant to be the organiser and Milf the attacker? Macca is playing good considering IMO.

Considering the possession and completions, it's a miracle we're only down by 8. Those things tend to even themselves out over a game.

33% possession and 47% completion says it all. Lucky to not be down further.

Game is not out of reach but we've got to score early and get the Dragons to rack up some tackles. 69 is the difference so far, fatigue is going to be a big factor in the second half.

Ben Hunt's kicking has been giving us a bit of grief tonight..

Who would have thought?

Our main problem is errors, limit those and we give ourselves a chance to get into our rhythm.
