still this team seem to enjoy overcoming odds and breaking new records
 
Nightmare ground for us. Got flogged here last year but it turned out being bit of a turning point for the team. Let’s hope we can jag the win tonight and get our season going again.
 
Yeah we have had them for their "home" game at Magic Round for years, so that Brookie stat doesn't surprise me too much. Going to be a tough ask tonight, I'm expecting another loss but hopefully a better showing than that abomination against the Roosters. Will be interesting to see if "privately fuming" results in anything different.

2012- lost 16-6
2014-lost 16-4
2025-lost 34-6

Won 3/11 between 88-05 and Wally got sent off there too- first Broncos' send off for using a forearm on Glenn Ryan.

5/16 overall.

But bloody hell has he been more than serviceable. He's our smoothy of 26.

Madge is honestly doing a remarkable job. He's grown at his job since souffs/tigers and he was already a great one there in hindsight.

Shibasaki, talty, smoothy, Karipani have all come from last chance saloon/squad-filler roles to 1st graders, and gun 1st graders at that! P riki, perham and rogers look to be doing the same this year.
J Riki, willison, b walters, staggs, mariner, Walsh, piakura have all improved dramatically as well. Duffy looks to have improved but small sample size. And its not as if the players I havent named have been bad, everyone bar arthurs, b hunt (age), reynolds (age) and mozer (injuries/opportunities) have become better or more rounded nrl players. Maybe carrigan too, but I think thats because we just expect more of him now so it appears he hasnt improved.

Incredible coaching. Huge selling point to depth players. "Hey we cant offer you overs but come to the broncos on 1-2 year deal and your entire career can change, just look at (example a, b, c, d, etc".... "sure!"

I have never been as wrong about anything as I was with Madge. That includes when I believed in Santa Claus.
