PRE-GAME [Round 10, 2026] - Broncos vs Sea Eagles

Xavier needs to be in the middle for this game. Made a massive difference in the 2nd half against the rorters.

Manlys pack is horrific. With turbo and possibly fog out we should win this barring a Klein/ Gee ref special like we saw tonight.

Duffman crushed this. No concerns with him wearing 7. Little concerned however about our outside backs and I’d honestly bench Shibs, put Mariner at centre, Arthars to wing (even Verhoeven)… if we have that option.

So we probably also lose:
- Karapani (ankle?)
- Mariner (leg)
- Reynolds (concussion)
- Staggs (suspended)
- Talty (suspended)

The Talty one shouldn't happen but I don't trust the NRL with anything. We should get Piki back, I don't know if anyone else.

I thought Duffy was fantastic and Walsh got better and better. So did Mam to be honest. Losing our wingers will be massive though, they do so much work.

So let's assume all of the aboves plus the currents are out, we are looking at:

1. Walsh
2. Verhoeven (or is he injured too?)
3. Arthars
4. Shibasaki
5. Poates
6. Mam
7. Duffy
8. Willison
9. Paix
10. Semu (for team balance, Talty is a weapon off the bench and I really like what I'm seeing from Semu)
11. Junt
12. HGiki
13. Carrigan

14. Rogers
15. Talty
16. Gosiewski
17. Piki
18. Tawha
19. Perham

X needs some help. Taltys great off the bench but he's not a starter, he's a impact forward.
Priki should be back next week i'd have him and X start. Just need to find a back rower.

still a decent team if we get given a fair go

And for those following along at home, definitely out next week:
- Reynolds
- Bunt
- Piakura
- Te Kura
- Mozer
- Paas
- Ganderson
- Hoeter
- Jensen
- Difference

Probably out:
- Staggs
- Mariner
- Karapani

Possibly out:
- Talty

Verhoeven was named in the squad this week.
Agree with Talty, he's a good impact forward not a starter. PRiki or Semu to start

how the **** are we even competitive with that list of outs.

just being in games is a testament to how far Madge has taken this team

What the **** is this year. Are we ever going to have anywhere near our full-strength team on the park?
Reminds me of 07. Reigning premiers and could never get a full strength team together.
Let's hope it doesn't end with our best player doing their ACL.

I feel like every team (except for riff) is eventually going to have a massive injury toll at some point of the season given how quick the game is. The rorters had an early bye so have been able to get through unscathed up until this game.

Just got to scrape wins together during our period with outs and have blokes firing towards the pointy end.

But even they lost a few tonight. The game is too fast.
