All season long we haven't been getting the fundamentals right. We've just had the luxury of going up against a lot of teams that didn't have the ability to make us pay for it.

We are talking the storm game where we played 20 min with 12 players and went down by 8 with some garbage calls going against us this is a team that is supposed to make us pay right?

No ball in the second half, Storm getting most of their points from bombs and hoping for the best(that some how worked considering they never attempted to catch basically ever), and a sin bin against Patty that never should of happened yet we were still in the game, and that doesn't even include the fact our halfback is out, I don't think this was a game we had much chance to even win with given how much the ref got involved, it was a chaotic mess of a game and less spoken about it the better.

I’ve not seen kevvie react like that in a post match presser. He was pretty smart with his words and without calling out the ref, he made it known there should be questions asked.
Penalties: 9-9
Ruck infringements 1-6
Sin bins: 1-3
There’s just no way you’re going to win a footy match with those stats.
the big one that stands out is the ruck infringements. Melbourne slow the play the ball down so fucking much, but as soon as they’re in possession and want not even a quick play the ball it feels like they get a six again. It’s just fucked. No penalty for Walsh getting taken out either early in that second half when Ezra put a bomb up. Hughes third man in, play on. Harry grant finger to pattys eye, play on.

The boys dug real deep tonight. A lot to take out of that, but it’s still super disappointing that we can never get over the storm/refs.
can’t see ya having reyno or pat for next week.

This is a fair critique of the game unlike others who just get soooo butt hurt and sensitive without explaining to me their POV as to why and how we lost the game. Thanks for that. Just sucks to continue losing to the Storm.

Getting pinged with six agains is a pretty good indicator a team is running out of puff. I see the horse and cart being put the wrong way around on this. It's not that the six agains are fucking you, it's that being fucked makes you sloppy in getting back onside. Same with professional fouls. We did well not to have a cricket score put on us. And that was partly due to refereeing decisions going our way.

Best to move on from this game. It wasn't pretty.

Adam going down early really messed things for us. BUT, the boys turned up for each other & are really in the cheat grubs faces all the game in-spite of the adversity.

How the fook does those cheat grubs get away with blatant offsides & forward passes is unbelievable.

Their blatant slow play the balls alone deserves 10 set restarts for us at a bare minimum.

Herbie’s & Pattys sin bins are laughable.

The retard moron Remus Smith with his fook face must have been binned 3 times for his antics on Herbie.

All in all, great effort from our guys.

I'll tell you what, go back to ANY set the Storm were defending their line and you'll see almost everyone move forward 5m BEFORE the ball is played. That is the definition of offside and it was literally called once...all night.
