Not sure on that, Willison should have played backrow, dropped after he got injured early last game after Madge said he was the answer there, seems way too premature.

Putting Baker in aswell was nonsense imo. Marty and BTK are surely above from any objective standpoint.

I hope atleast Mozer comes in next week, at the cost of Paix, bring his easy try partner BTK with him too.

Madge I know you want to pick Jock, don't do it, just pick Ezra Madge. Anyway another very unlikely team list to shake things up:

1. Arthars - Cobbo at fullback is not working. Arthars is your safer bet but likely wont offer much.
2. Karapani - Has been playing well for Bears, deserves a shot and is the metre eater winger everyone is crying for.
3. Staggs - Needs to step up, wow sure have said that before for Kotoni.
4. Mariner - Not a winger.
5. Shibasaki - Will offer everything he offers on the wing he does Centre.
6. Ezra - Sorely missed.
7. Reyno - We are nothing without him.
8. Payne - We are nothing without him.
9. Billy - Utilise your kicking game more.
10. Jensen - Do not regress now you are starting again.
11. Cobbo - Let him eat what he wants and run it straight.
12. Piakura - Improving.
13. Patty - Sorely Missed.

14. Mozer - It's time.
15. Xavier - Hope the cork comes good soon.
16. Te Kura - It's time.
17. Riki - Let him earn his spot back.

Arthars has been very solid this year and in attack has been the best I have ever seen him, he is still leading the try scorers, I think he has gained a bit of speed this year and his decision making is the best it's ever been in attack.

This is 100% correct, I don't think it's the whole "rock star" narrative that has been put in them, but i think many of these guys are just simply not NRL standard.

What I wouldn't give for a performance like the Raiders against Storm last week. Just once could we show some resilience and heart.

I watched the beautiful slow mo of Weekes eyeing up Papenhauzen and chipping over him from that game.

Can anyone see our players taking that option? Staggs could've ****ing done that tonight, but no.....

Staggs absolutely could have chipped for himself, Latrell has the turning circle of an a380. It’s really painful watching us bottle linebreak after linebreak.

Ricky has the raiders so passionate, and hungry. Not sure if he can sustain it, but yep, the things I’d do for our team to play with that hunger.

I'd say the Dragons would be confident of a win next week. There is something wrong with our attack and I believe it is our halves. Both Reyno and Hunt could play in dinner suits as they just drift across the line to pick up runners which the defence easily pick off. Watch Cleary and Jerome Hughes who both take on the line multiple times so as to draw defenders before their passing game starts.

Surely Madge has to admit that the Hetherington to 13 experiment has failed. It has blunted Patty's attacking runs all for a player who is obviously not fit and is pedestrian slow.

Something has to change and surely it is time for Mozer to have a crack at 14. I'm not a Billy fan as I think his defence at hooker is not good but keeping him in the side does give us back up if a half goes down early.

If Mam does play I'd say he is more likely to be just trying to get his defence right and get some match fitness.

Changes need to be made otherwise this season is just going to slip away. I'm not sure Madge on his 1st year has the balls to do it and it needs to be now.

We signed Madge as coach because he apparently has the balls to get the best out of these players. Right now it looks like that was a mistake. We're a rabble tbh. The playing group don't like each other. Something is up with Carrigan that is for sure.

As much as everyone around the club will deny it, i do wonder if a fair few of the players simply dont trust Madge after the way he got his blue grubs to go after Walsh in Origin. Walsh is popular, and i cant imagine that went down very well regardless of what they say in the media.

Agreed, that's why Arthars should also be rewarded until Reece is back with the fullback position.

Its hard for me to say not watching games, but certain things clearly dont seem to be working. Hetherington to lock being a big one.

I still think we have suffered from being scared to lose any promising player we have and overpaying them. We need to start letting some of these apparently talented players walk if they hold us to ransom even if it means replacing them with a player who is less talented but does his job better. Having all the best players doesnt always equate to having the best team.
