According to Brien Seeney, most likely return for Hunt - if he genuinely has torn hamstring off the bone as reported by Badel - is Round 16 against the Sharks. That's 6 weeks. 4 is a bit fanciful. This is regardless of whether he has surgery.
Torn at the knee not the hip . Quicker recovery apparently . According to NRL physio.

I know it's Buzz, so it could legitimately all be fabricated, or someone is bitching to him via an agent and its being exaggerated, but imagine playing footy for a living, making either pretty good money or great money for it, and one of your pain points is being on a luxurious cruise ship in Sydney for a night, spending some time with your colleagues of whom you are mates with most of them.

Gotta feel for the players, tough gig.

Willison hit with a fine:

I'd give Mariner an opportunity to redeem himself. Otherwise Karaipani will get his opportunity sooner or later.

It was a slow start from Mam in the QCup, but worked himself nicely into the game. Hunt/Reynolds just wasn't working out, so Mam gets his opportunity.

Think Brisbane need to go old school and bring in a rugged type of player for the opening exchanges. May only get 15 minutes out of Taupau, but Marty is the best the Broncos have available so I'd start him and shift Carrigan to lock.

Think it's time to bring Mozer in as well. I'd rip the band-aid off and name him at 9, he's waited long enough.

Billy might get the nod over Paix due to his versatility. I'd sooner give Paix a shot and continue to encourage him to take more ownership around the ruck but that's just my opinion.

Willison at 15, Jensen at 16 (although I'm tempted to rotate him out) and I'd probably keep Hetho at 17. I don't think he's been as bad as some of you say, but the #13 experiment isn't working out.

Reserves
Billy Walters, Ben Te Kura, Josiah Karaipani, Fletcher Baker, Tyson Smoothy

With Va'a Semu pushing for a reserve spot.

The really frusterating thing about this game is, if it were any other team but the broncos I would say the Dragons are deadset no hope.

Any other team would come out breathing fire after being embarrassed like we just were, particularly the try on full time.

Take the tigers after conceding 64 last week. You can bet they'll come out and stick it to the rabbits this week. Same with the Warriors in round 6 were embarrassed by the storm. They came out injury ravaged and all and rolled us and haven't lost since.

If these guys have any heart and genuinely care, they'll absolutely punish the Dragons this week.

We all know how it smells when you leave a band-aid on too long.
