I was a little surprised that Duffy wasn't on the bench to begin with.

Although I thought maybe they wanted to give him more game time by playing the full match in the QLD Cup

Rogers played Cup in Mackay tonight and hasn't played in three weeks he was in serious need of some football; he was never playing tomorrow. Duffy was never going to PNG.

Reports Walsh won’t be the fullback for origin and shiba won’t be picked either. That’s means just one broncos player in the Queensland side.

If they pick howarth to play centre just so hammer can play fullback I almost hope we lose. Howarth has been dogshit. Bellamy has had to move him to the other side of the field because his defence was so bad in a couple of games.

Hope Walsh comes out and absolutely kills it today. Can’t for the life of me workout how Walsh is going to be left out of the 17.

I daresay Walsh still makes the bench and I'll wait till the team is confirmed before ruling him out of fullback, but kinda hoping he doesn't get picked at all or at least not picked at fullback, because it will mean he has to up his game to get the jersey.

Last week vs manly was horrendous from him... he only ran the ball 6 times... he clearly thought he was an automatic selection for origin and just had to get through the games to get his jersey back.

If he doesn't make the team or fullback then he has to go and outperform Ponga/Hammer, which is what we want.
 
We shouldn't win this and I don't expect us to. What I would like us got us to defend well and not make errors consistently. No more injuries or suspensions would also be good.
