POST GAME [Round 11, 2026] - Broncos vs Warriors

Its not the loss. It's the 10 penalties against in the first half which in this era means you dont stand a chance of winning.

and the problem is if both teams are reffed the same way there would be 40 infringements by half time and everyone in the media would be screaming about the state of the game at the top of their lungs

Yea, we really need to work on our discipline. We're developing some bad habits.
Would be ****ing nice if we didn't need to play entire games under ridiculous fatigue from the first 10/15/20/40mins with a 70/30 possession count and playing entirely from the back foot within our own half. Every. ****ING. Week.

No team in the history of the NRL has been so ill-disciplined. And up against ****ing saints, week-in week-out. Remarkable really.

That was a bad watch, Our senior players should be the guys leading from the front when the chips are down, but their not, they are the guys giving away the 6 agains and the high sjop penalties and the poor ball control etc.

Madge are the presser will say "injuries are just an excuse " and he is right but man it also highlights how poor we are outside of our top 17.

Both Hunts, Shiba, Mam, Preston Riki are all stealing a wage.

I worry we give the dragons their first win in a few weeks. And im not 100% sure this side is a lock in for the 8.
Yep. Agree. Think even with a full strength team we might struggle to make the 8 ..

This is what gets me.

I hope Barnett makes the most of all his ****ery in the ruck for the rest of the year because he'll get crucified when he puts the Broncs jersey on.

It's not the penalties I so much have an issue with, though they are also bad, but it's the 6 agains. Both teams got hit with unfair penalties (and bins) but the 6 agains are a ****ing farce and are determining games.

The set we got our first 6 again - the next 2 tackles were SO ****ING SLOW and yet it's crickets. Then they get the ball and immediately a 6 again is blown for absolutely no ****ing reason, led to a try.

It's beyond diabolical at this point. Literally determining games, and literally impacting for/against and thus the ladder.
Yeah that set was a farce. The back to back holding onto Karapani and Willison despite both of them winning the tackle was criminal. I don't know why Reynolds would lead foot it on the 4th tackle though after such a slow ptb when no one else is alert to it either

The game is now all about having players who can win the ptb from neutral rucks. Haas, Willison, Piakura and Mariner are by far our best ptbs. Just not going to get the go forward or 6 again calls to win games when only one of them is playing, and he's stuck on an edge because Madge doesn't trust any of the back up options

I thought Preston Riki went ok. Not sure what his stats said but seemed like he was poking his head through and making decent post contact metres.
54 minutes for 67 meters, just not what is needed for a starting prop.

Do I just cut and paste my ramble from last week with regards to our starts? What the **** are we doing? 3 errors inside the first 5 minutes. When’s it going to click? The new nrl is all momentum based. We put ourselves on the backfoot from the first sets of the game.

And if your Sunday night wasn’t fkd enough here’s a reminder

I just think the damage has been done aye the +/- is taking a hammering and we still have origin to get through.

Walsh is a shadow of what he was last year and lots of that has to do with our Pack is just getting bullied.

Did Madge blow up in the presser at all?
Nope... he definitely looked a bit more annoyed this week. But he still tells the story of i have faith in thr group in there even with the injuries...

Problem is if you honestly look at that pack from tonight, how many would be a lock in for any other NRL sides? I think 2... I really hope internally Madge knows the pack is soft and just not up to it.

So we asked to see Junt.
Yeah, nah. Madge was obviously reluctant and for good reason.
Aublix - no.
So we shift Willison again and weaken the middle.
Bring in Gale.
3 seasons since Capewell left and Piakura was depth and still no competent depth 2RF.
TBH we were never going to win today, but with a bit of luck in 2nd half (Walsh and Karapani), and a bit less fatigue in the legs, it may have been 30-22 with 20 to go...
Sure Carrigan maybe gave up 1 poor ruck infringement, but at least 3 in the first half were inexplicable.
Talty needs to learn to tackle anyway when he was called not square (again questionable call)
Yeah Wasn't it Kevvie who let Capewell go because he could only offer 2 seasons.
Useless prick let Walsh go and got lucky let Capewell go when we had no second rowers let Hoskings go but signed Goz, Jhunt and Fletcher Baker.
