If they HAVE to have games on Origin week, I just don't understand why the nrl can't schedule weakened teams against other weakened teams. Broncos, cows, roosters, even the sharks and dogs. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

It's almost like they want to give shit teams a leg up.

They don't because generally the weakened teams are the better teams in the comp and therefore games between them are highlight games for the NRL

You wouldn't expect broncos v storm during origin both teams heavily depleted during origin but every game is typically close and a spectacle. Also one of the biggest rivalries in the game
