Surely 9 are going to pull an about-face. Of all the games they can screen on Friday night, they choose Wests v Titans? Maybe it was plausible in the pre-season but now I'd hate to see my southern bretheren sit through that in order to see what should be a quality game against Brisbane v Manly.

I really think that the Sea Eagles are going to bring it and I'm concerned whether Brisbane will have the tenacity to come out on top.

Actually I'm really looking forward to the weekend and think that every game has some serious ramifications and will help paint a clear picture of where every team is at. I'm especially looking forward to the Rabbitohs/Warriors clash in Perth. I haven't thought much of the Warriors since I saw them get beat by the Titans on their home soil but they're in the 8 and with Tomkins back they could go on a run if they beat a weakened Souths line-up in Perth. For mine, if they can't win in this clash, they're goners.

Knights vs Raiders wow really looking forward to that and you may as well give the Roosters the 2 competition points already.

Barba ruled out with a rib injury, that's a big blow to the Roosters.

Tony Williams out for the season.

Blow for the Bulldogs?

I don't think it is.

Haha, this. I saw the article on FB and the title was something like..."Williams out for the season, huge blow to Dogs finals chances."

Tony Williams out for the season.

Blow for the Bulldogs?

I don't think it is.

It's definitely a blow.

On his day, he's one of the Dogs most dangerous players and they rely heavily on him making in-roads to create space for their outside men. The Bulldogs should be able to recover through the likes of Pritchard and company but this isn't like Cronulla losing Barba, they'll miss him.

With news that Nathan Milone and Manaia Cherrington will debut for the Wests Tigers, I'm going to make an effort to watch the Tigers/Titans clash.

It will largely be irrelevant come September but I always enjoy watching clubs turn things around to see what works and what doesn't.

I can't complain about Wests/GC.

Was about what I expected to see from both teams. Both sides lack quality players in key positions but the Titans just had too much experience for Wests who continually let themselves down with poor decision making. As they demonstrated, they have the talent to be competitive against any team but they just give up the ghost far too cheaply.

Also says a lot about this trend of taking the two. It seems like 2015 is the year of the penalty goal. Every team is going for them to the point of it being utterly ridiculous. It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where George sees somebody eating a chocolate bar with a knife and fork, creating this domino effect that gains traction.

I don't mind the tactic if you're a team like Melbourne, St George or Brisbane with relatively good defence but when you're as vulnerable as the Gold Coast, and you have an 14 point lead, the penalty goal should be out of the question.

And a field goal with a 16 point lead should DEFINITELY be out of the question.

It nearly backfired on the Titans but fortunately the Tigers defence lacked composure and the Titans exploited it. All it took was an offload, early ball to Roberts and it was all over for Wests.

Wests just desperately need to get a win. They're lacking confidence and desperately need some inspiration from somewhere to get on their feet. Because right now, it appears that they're destined for the spoon.

Aiden Sezer on report for asking Mitchell Moses if he's a tough c bomb.

What is happening to our game

Pathetic isn't it. What's next? Ten in the bin for death stares?

Fucking hell, can you imagine the report sheet at the end of each round if they start putting players on report for swearing?

It would be like a fucking book.

If it was at the ref or touchie fair call but FMD you can't sledge an opponent

I think this comes off Matt Lodge (I think) writing the C-bomb on his wrist tape last year

Haha
